People and positions
Plan with profiles, create project seats, then choose who fills them.
These captures show the current model: profiles, seats and people. Workload distinguishes task effort from reserved time; do not add them together.
Domains
Domains group company skills. They organize the directory but are neither a person nor a project need.
People and access
A person does the work. The directory holds their details; their account and permissions determine access to Zenoba. A reusable profile is not a user account.
Profiles and seats
A profile describes a reusable role. A seat belongs to a project and carries that profile; it can be occupied or remain unfilled.
Task assignment
Tasks are assigned to seats from the Gantt, table or board. Filling a seat changes its occupant; replacing someone keeps completed tasks in their history.
Invitations and replacements
Inviting onto a seat creates a person, fills the seat and sends an invitation. Replacement takes effect on the chosen date; open tasks follow the seat. A future handover can be cancelled before its date.
